Rosenberg Animal Shelter Seeking Woman Who Allegedly Threw Cat in Trashcan at Seabourne Park

(ROSENBERG) – The Rosenberg Animal Shelter is asking for the public’s help identifying a woman they say threw a cat, which was locked inside a carrier, in a trashcan at Seabourne Creek Nature Park. They say the incident happened on Jan. 12 between 10 a.m. and noon.

Officials with the shelter say the video shows the woman entering the parking lot in a 2011 or 2012 Ford Fusion. She was last seen traveling down Band Rd. headed towards Spur 10.

“We are looking for any information that can help us with this abandonment case,” said officials. “Please reach out to our shelter during our regular business hours at (832) 595-3490 or text at (832) 449-8614. Your information will remain anonymous.”
