(FULSHEAR) – The City of Fulshear is encouraging residents to sign up for Everbridge, the city’s new mass notification system.
Everbridge notifies registered users of critical emergency information about hurricanes, severe weather, water main breaks, police and fire emergencies, public health issues, widespread power outages, and city events, to name a few.
Residents who signed up for Blackboard, the city’s previous notification system, will not have their information transferred due to privacy regulations, and will have to create a new account with Everbridge.
