(KATY) - The City of Katy Public Works Department will be picking up and recycling Christmas trees again this year.
Live Christmas tree should be put out to the curb by 7a.m. on the following dates:
Tuesday, Dec. 27
Monday, Jan. 9
The trees must have all decorations, ornaments, tinsel, lights and stands removed to be recycled. Flocked trees and/or artificial trees cannot be recycled. Do not block any water meter, gas meter, hydrant or ditch.
If you are not able to recycle your trees during our collection days, alternate locations for tree recycling are:
