(ROSENBERG) – Rosenberg police are investigating after a car crashed into a Denny’s restaurant, injuring 23 people. The accident occurred around 11:22 a.m. Sept. 4 at 27960 Southwest Freeway.
Police say the vehicle crashed into the south wall of the building. All 23 injured people were taken to local hospitals with injuries ranging from miner lacerations to severe injuries, but none appear to be life-threatening. Police say all were conscious when they were taken to the hospital. The driver of the vehicle was not injured.
Police say the investigation into the crash is ongoing.
