(SUGAR LAND) – An Under passenger was arrested in Sugar Land after allegedly assaulting
the female driver.
According to police, just after 10 p.m. Saturday, May 27, SLPD responded to the intersection of Scarlet Maple and Homeward Way in reference to a weapons offense. The investigation revealed the driver picked up a passenger, later identified as Fresno resident Jaqulyn Arceneaux, and drove him to Sugar Land. At the conclusion of the transport the driver reported being physically assaulted at gunpoint.
SLPD detectives obtained a warrant and arrested Arceneaux, charging him with first degree felony.
