(FORT BEND ISD) – Fort Bend ISD students are invited to enter this year’s Farm Fresh Art Contest, hosted by the district’s Child Nutrition Department. The theme is “Taste the Rainbow” and is designed to “encourage students to highlight Texas agriculture through art and engage young minds to make strong, sustainable connections to local foods, farmers and ranchers.”
One winner will be selected from each of the following age groups: Kinder - 2nd, 3rd - 5th, 6th - 8th and 9th - 12th
Media can include paint, drawings, watercolor, collages, sketches and original digital illustrations. Students are asked not to include school specific icons in their submission.
Any artwork that depicts copyrighted images will be rejected. No entries with characters from television shows, movies, video games, or books will be accepted. All artwork must be original ideas and must be created entirely by the student.
