Sheriff’s Office Looking for Theft Suspect

(RICHMOND) – The Fort Bend Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help identifying a suspect allegedly involved in a theft at an Ace Hardware store in Richmond.

On Dec. 12, 2022, at the Ace Hardware Store located at 11818 S. Mason Rd in Richmond, the suspect pictured suspect allegedly stole a bank envelope that was reportedly located in the pocket of the victim, who had just entered the store.


Before the incident, the victim withdrew cash from the Wells Fargo Bank located at 8003 W. Grand Pkwy in Richmond, then drove to the hardware store.


The suspect is a black male approximately 20 years old with black hair, 5’10” tall and weighing 175 lbs.


The suspect was dropped off and picked up by the pictured black Hyundai Sonata that has a sunroof and possible orange colored license plate holder with a paper tag displayed. The pictured vehicle was occupied by two individuals.
