(FORT BEND ISD) –Rosa Parks Elementary School and its student council hosted the “Leaders R Us” student leadership workshop this week, presented by the Texas Elementary Principals and Supervisors Association.
This year’s theme was “Live a Leader’s Life.”
Student leaders in grades 4-8 and their advisors are invited to the annual day-long training event. The program builds confidence in young leaders and equips student groups with strategies and tips to take back to their campuses.
Students and their advisors attended concurrent sessions led by veteran educators and TEPSA staff members Lisa McLaughlin and Belinda Box.
This month’s event was at full capacity with 14 FBISD elementary schools among the 19 campuses in attendance.
