Missouri City Teenagers Arrested Following Armed Carjacking in Sugar Land

(SUGAR LAND) - The Sugar Land Police Department with help from Gulf Coast Violent Offenders Task Force have jailed four suspects who allegedly took part in a robbery which occurred in the Venetian Estates neighborhood on Jan. 9.


The victim parked at the end of the driveway to check the mailbox when she was suddenly confronted by armed suspects who carjacked her luxury vehicle. The victim was not seriously injured and SLPD was able to locate and recover the stolen car within twelve hours.


SLPD detectives were able to identify the suspects using police forensics, License Plate Recognition Cameras and surveillance footage.


Nathan Halliburton, Nick Vermeer, Quintin Shorten and Alexis Krasnosky are all teenagers from Missouri City and are currently held at the Fort Bend County Jail, charged with aggravated robbery.
