Loal Fraternal Organization Donates Thousands of Dollars in School Supplies to FBISD Schools

(FORT BEND ISD) – Last month, members of the Prince Hall Freemasons’ Attentive Ear Lodge No. 350 donated more than $2,000 in school supplies to students and teachers at Marshall High School, and Glover and Hunters Glen elementary schools.

The supplies included backpacks, various notebooks, pens, pencils and other necessary items. The schools were chosen at random, but all fall within the lodge’s service area, and the donation continues the organization’s legacy of service which also includes holiday toy and food drives.

Members of the lodge – Alton Baines, Edward Brown, Lawrence Edwards, Del Simpers and Howard Turner – delivered the items to school administrators.

Prince Hall Freemasonry was founded in 1784 by Prince Hall, a free man of color, and is the oldest and largest fraternal organization in the United States.
