(NEEDVILLE) - In conjunction with Needville’s city-wide garage sale, the Friends of the Albert George Branch Library will host Fall Book Sales on Friday, Sept. 16, from noon to 5 p.m., and on Saturday, Sept. 17, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., in the meeting room of the library, 9230 Gene Street in Needville.
The sale will include adult and children’s books, puzzles, movies and music. Prices range from fifty cents for paperback books up to $1 for hardback books.
The Friends of the Albert George Branch Library organization is instrumental in funding library programs such as the children’s Summer Reading Club. Proceeds from the book sale and annual membership dues also help to underwrite the costs of special programming and various cultural events at the Albert George Branch Library.
