(FORT BEND ISD) - Five Fort Bend ISD teams recently competed in the Destination Imagination Global Finals in Kansas City, Missouri. Results of the competition are below.
Team Mechanical Cheetah placed third in Engineering (EL-I/E). Team members include Shaheer Azim, Ayaan Dhedhi, Nikhil Erukulla, Raghav Pandurangi, Dhev Sudheer and Neil Tyagi. Team managers include Rashmi Pandurangi and Mariyah Dhedhi. Team raDIcals placed fifth place in Service Learning (SL/pO). Members include Saachi Jain,Eshaan Khade,Vivaan Khade and Ronil Shah. Team manager is Jigisha Doshi.
Team inDIstructibles placed eighth in Technical (EL/A). Members include Prisha Dave, Sanjana Ganglani, Aarin Mehta, Ayush Patwa, Aarvi Thota and Augustya Varma. Team managers include Kamalakar Thota, Tejas Mehta, Vandana Padma and Rao Yarala. Team Sullivan 7 placed eighth in Fine Arts (EL-I/C). Members include Alisa Charoenrattanaruk, Austin Fung, Madison Fung, Ryuki Hotta, Ayaan Khimani, Mina Liu and Talia Terrones. The team is managed by Suzanne Gamble Fung.
Team 6th DImension earned eleventh place in Engineering (SL/E). Team members include Rishabh Aggarwal, Rithik Aggarwal, Emily Chan, Ansul Jhaveri, Aaril Shah and Shivani Sunderamoorthi. Team managers include Jigisha Doshi and Linda Christensen.
Destination Imagination competitions offer open-ended academic challenges that spark students’ creativity in STEM (science, technology, engineering, mathematics), fine arts and service learning.
