FBISD Theater Students Nominated for Tommy Tune Awards

(FORT BEND ISD) – Fort Bend ISD received a record 12 nominations in the 2023 Tommy Tune Awards Program. Students and educators will be honored at the annual awards ceremony, scheduled for May 4 at the Hobby Center.


The TTA celebrates the educational value, artistry and community of high school musical theater in the greater Houston area. Schools produce a full-length musical which is adjudicated by a team of volunteer mentors and professional Houston-based music and theater artists. Top-scoring productions receive nominations.
