FBISD Implements Clear Bag Regulations for Off-Campus District Sports Facilities

(FORT BEND ISD) - Fort Bend ISD will implement clear bag regulations for all off-campus district sports facilities “In an effort to provide a safer environment for guests,” according to district officials.

The following types of bags are permitted:


  • Clear, plastic, vinyl, or PVC bags that do not exceed 12” x 6” x 12” in size

  • Clear, plastic, one-gallon, re-sealable, Ziploc-style bags

  • Clutch bags approximately the size of a hand (4½” x 6½” or smaller)


Visitors who do not comply with the regulations will not be allowed entry into the event. Guests who require the use of medical items or equipment can enter any main facility entrance to have their bags screened for admittance.


This policy will be strictly enforced at all district sports facilities including Hall Stadium, Hopson Field House, Mercer Stadium, Wheeler Field House, Cook Natatorium and Aquatic Practice Facility.


Bags that are not permitted include:


  • Solid color backpacks

  • Printed pattern plastic bags

  • Fanny packs

  • Purses

  • Reusable grocery totes

  • Mesh or straw bags

  • Duffel bags

  • Large tote bags

  • Camera cases

  • Diaper bags

  • Solid color cinch bags

  • Solid color plastic storage bags
