(SUGAR LAND) – Sugar Land police are looking for two suspects that allegedly stole an elderly woman’s wallet and cell phone as she was shopping at H-E-B.
On Monday, Sept. 11 around 5:15 p.m. Sugar Land police responded to a call to the H-E-B at 530 SH 6 in reference to a theft.
An elderly woman was shopping when she was approached by two women pretending to help her find items. As one woman distracted her, the other removed the victim’s phone and wallet from her purse that was sitting in the shopping cart. The suspects later used the victim’s credit cards to make purchases in Houston.
Police have released surveillance images of the suspects. Anyone who recognizes the suspects should call Fort Bend Crime Stoppers at 281-341-TIPS.
