On Feb. 9 Fort Bend County Sheriff's deputies responded to the Texas Children's Hospital for a report of a road rage incident involving a child reportedly injured by a gunshot.

Deputies spoke with Houston Police Officers present at the hospital and after further investigation, FBCSO detectives determined that the four-year-old child was injured at a residence in the 25000 block of Tancy Ranch Ct. in Katy. Possible mishandling of a firearm contributed to the child's injury.

Gendri Aguillon was arrested and booked into the Fort Bend County Jail and is charged with injury to a child. No bond has been set. Magistration is pending. He is also charged with making a false report with a bond set at $750.

The child is in stable condition. This incident remains under investigation.

"No child should ever be harmed in any way," said Sheriff Eric Fagan. "Our detectives are thoroughly investigating the incident and we remind everyone that making a false police report is illegal. Those responsible will be held accountable."
